Membership

The Club operates an annual membership subscription policy. The Membership Year runs from 1st October to 30th September. Membership subscriptions are due from 1st October each year.
The Rules of Membership are included in the Club Rules which are available here.

The membership fee covers all required insurance (third party, public liability and member to member) cover. It also covers the cost of insurance of the storage facility within the park. Club members are issued with an annual membership card which carries details of the club insurance cover. This card should be carried whenever visiting other clubs' venues as proof of insurance cover. The membership fee also entitles the member to receive issues of the Club magazine.

Club membership fees are used to provide any necessary equipment, make repairs to or replace all club owned equipment, subsidise social events and also provide the revenue to run the club on a day to day basis. As a club member you are entitled to hire, for a nominal fee, any of the club equipment for occasional use. This equipment includes a petrol driven generator, chairs, tables etc.

All membership fees should be paid to Membership Secretary. Cheques should be made payable to Luton & District Model Boat Club.

MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION TARIFFS
A: Adult: £20.00
B: Senior Citizen (Male/Female over 60): £17.00
C: Junior (under 18 see note 1): Free
D: Disabled: £17.00
E: Family Membership (see note 2): £21.00
F: Senior Family Membership(see note 3): £18.00
Note 1: A Junior Member MUST be part of a Family Membership group. Junior Members
become Adults on their 18th birthday and thereafter, at the next membership renewal date,
will pay the Adult Membership tariff.
Note 2: Two adults plus maximum of three Juniors under 18
Note 3: Two Adults, one being over 60, plus maximum of three Juniors under 18
